Truro Spring Tennis Session 1 (March 16 - March 27)

Join us for Truro Spring Tennis Session 1, a comprehensive 2-week program designed to develop technical skills, enhance movement, and foster a love for tennis. Whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or advanced player, this session offers tailored instruction to suit every level.

Students will be grouped by skill level and assigned to courts that best support their growth and learning. Participants are required to bring their own water and tennis rackets. The offered options are below:

Beginner/Intermediate Tennis Clinic

When: Mondays and Wednesdays 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM

Who: For beginners and developing players

  • Warm-Up (5 minutes): Light stretching and movement drills

  • Live Ball Drills (15-20 minutes): Fun and engaging drills focusing on stroke technique and ball control

  • Serve Practice (5-10 minutes): Serve basics to build form and consistency

  • Point Play/Games (Remaining Time): Simplified point play to practice skills in real match scenarios

Ball Used: Green/Orange/Red (depending on age and skill level)

Advanced Tennis Youth Clinic

When: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM

Who: For players with experience and advanced skills

  • Warm-Up (5 minutes): Dynamic drills to get the body moving

  • Live Ball Drills (15-20 minutes): High-intensity drills focused on technique, footwork, and match situations

  • Serve Practice (5-10 minutes): Improve consistency, placement, and power on serves

  • Point Play/Games (Remaining Time): Situational points and practice sets to simulate match play

All Levels Youth Clinic

When: Fridays from 4:30-5:30 PM

Who: For all levels and ages. Friday will also be used as a makeup day in the event of a weather cancelation.

  • Warm-Up (5 minutes): Dynamic drills to get the body moving

  • Live Ball Drills (15-20 minutes): High-intensity drills focused on technique, footwork, and match situations

  • Serve Practice (5-10 minutes): Improve consistency, placement, and power on serves

  • Point Play/Games (Remaining Time): Situational points and practice sets to simulate match play

Ball Used: Yellow Ball Used: Yellow 

Important Details:

  • The schedule is subject to change based on demand.

  • If we get in 30 minutes or more, it will be counted as a full class.

  • A minimum of four students per level is required to hold classes at each designated time.

Rain Policy:

  • Make-up classes may be scheduled on other days, subject to availability.

  • All make-ups must be completed within the session timeframe.
