Full-Time Program

Our full-time program is catered to players who are training in a full day or early release from school capacity. We aim to create an individualized experience for each player to maximize their games. We are looking for the toughest and hardest working players in the country! Players must apply and be approved for entry into this program.

Full-Time Programming and Goals

The Mitchell Frank Tennis Academy (MFTA) Full-Time Tennis Program is an intensive, high-performance training environment for dedicated junior athletes committed to long-term competitive development. This program is designed for players who are ready to train with purpose, consistency, and accountability on a daily basis.

Program Structure

  • Training Days: Monday–Friday (with optional weekends)

  • Daily Training Window: 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM

    • Optional afternoon sessions available as well

  • Location: Lincolnia Park Recreational Club (6501 Montrose Street, Alexandria, VA 22321)

  • Indoor training utilized during inclement weather

Training Components

  • Minimum 3.5 hours of on-court tennis daily

  • Minimum 1 hour of daily fitness training

  • Technical, tactical, mental, and match-play development

  • Player-specific drilling and situational point play

  • Weekly practice match play

  • Classroom sessions focused on strategy and match management

  • Quarterly progress evaluations and ongoing feedback

  • Tournament planning support and select on-site coaching
